🇺🇸 | The world wishes for peace and justice. We, the extraordinary ones, can bring them about – END

✖️ Gaze through a telescope, and you won’t see millions of planets – you’ll see billions. Who built them? Why are they there? How long have they existed?

✖️ Look closer still, and you’ll see Earth is a very, very young planet. A mere infant compared to the others. Yet we who live upon it dare to believe we understand everything.

✖️ From this young world, no one has ever taken a single thing. We die, and everything stays behind. So why do we kill one another? Why do we hate? Nothing we use truly belongs to us. What is it we seek to possess that could ever justify the hatred buried so deep within us?

✖️ Listening to us speak, you might think we comprehend the universe and its billions of planets. Hearing us argue, you might believe we’re all Nobel laureates. But look closer – the truth is terrifying.

💡 I believe that if we are to live in something we can never fully understand, on an Earth we can never leave, among people who will always be here because this is their home too – then let us at least try, together, to make this place perfect and to live within it.

💚 The fact remains: until we die, we will never know on which day the universe was created. No one was there to record it. So what is the sense in destroying everything? Or in accepting its destruction? What purpose do weapons serve then?

Do your best. Plant trees. It cleanses our sins and purifies the soul. I won’t explain more than that.

You know what matters.
