A book by Gabriel

TheManifesto

The Forgotten Repetition

The wind blows one way and then another, without us understanding why. This book shows the signs of an approaching catastrophe—similar to what happened 3,000 years ago: ➜ The Forgotten Repetition.

Why this book?

All great changes begin harmlessly.

We hear about wildfires, heat, drought, floods and crop failures. We usually look at each event in isolation. This manifesto asks a different question: What if these developments are connected—and their consequences only become visible on our plates later?

I do not ask you to believe me blindly. Read, examine the connections and observe for yourself what is happening on Earth. Then decide for yourself.

A look inside the book

What if food were gradually becoming scarce?

Do you believe the large retail chains would inform their customers in time? Or would they first fill empty shelves with other available products until, eventually, there was nothing left to sell?

It is convenient to trust the supermarket. But when it comes to food, we should add a little common sense to that trust.

Today we eat what has already been grown, harvested and processed. We may not see the consequences of what is happening in the fields today until months later.

The warning

It is not here yet. But it is on its way.

Wildfires destroy habitats and kill millions of insects, including bees. Fewer bees mean smaller harvests. Heat, drought and floods destroy crops around the world. What does not grow today will be missing from the supermarket tomorrow.

What you can expect in the book

Warning, explanation and preparation.

01

Observe.

Which changes are already visible—in nature, in the fields and in our food supply?

02

Connect.

How are wildfires, insects, bees, plants and later harvests connected?

03

Decide.

You receive my explanation. Then you examine the statements and decide for yourself what to make of them.

How to read the Manifesto

Three parts. One shared idea.

The three parts were written independently and at different times. In the end, they were brought together as one manifesto. You can start at the beginning, choose individual topics or read the final part first. What matters is that you receive the information and examine it for yourself.

The table of contents and chapter overview will be added.

A historical perspective

When does the world respond?

The famine in Ethiopia in the 1980s showed the world images that many people have never forgotten. The Manifesto asks a direct question: Do we respond to warning signs—or only once a catastrophe is already visible?

My task is to draw your attention to the warning signs and explain how I interpret them.
